Minor raped by stepfather, 6 months pregnant

By BBN Staff: On Tuesday, January 2, 2018, around 1:53 p.m., a 14-year-old girl of Guinea Grass village visited the Orange Walk Police Station along with her sister and reported that she had been raped by her stepfather.

According to the minor, she was raped on two separate occasions in the months of July and September. She reported that her stepfather had sex with her against her will at their home.

A medical examination was conducted, which confirmed that she was carnally known.

The medical exam also determined that the minor is 24 weeks pregnant.

This matter is under Investigation.
