Belize City Police: man shot in face, is in critical condition

By BBN Staff: Last night around 8:20, police visited the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital, where they saw Edgar Flores, 33, of Belize City suffering from a gunshot wound to the right side of the face (below the nose area).

Police investigation revealed that around 8:15 p.m., Flores was socializing on Jones Street , when a man stopped in front of the yard.

The man then fired shots at the crowd injuring Flores.

Flores is listed in a critical condition while police investigations continue.
