Teens busted after robbing Belmopan store with fake gun

BBN Staff: This morning Belmopan police are attempting to bring charges against two minors who robbed a store in the capital city yesterday.

The minors, aged 15 and 16, reportedly entered Taisan store on Garza Street in Belmopan and held it up with a fake gun.

They made off with $600 from the cash register.

However, police quickly reviewed the store’s surveillance footage in which the boys could be clearly seen.

Police were able to nab both teens while they sat in a taxi stand outside of the Belmopan bus terminal.

The cash and the fake gun were also recovered.
