Man left in coma after being brutally beaten in Santa Elena Town

BBN Staff: A man was brutally beaten in Santa Elena Town, Cayo last week.

According to reports, Nicholas Flores a resident of Santa Elena was beaten badly on the night of Friday, January 25, 2019. Flores was at the bus stop near Boiton’s BBQ on the George Price Highway in Santa Elena when he was attacked and beaten.

Flores remains hospitalized in a coma after the incident.

Flores is a former policeman and a retired public officer. His last place of employment whilst in government was at the Lands Department in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

The police are seeking the assistance of the public in identifying the culprit/s.
