COMPOL discusses security operations in San Pedro

By BBN Staff: Commissioner of Police (COMPOL), Chester Williams, along with Deputy Commissioner of Police, Edward Broaster, and Assistant Commissioner of Police, Marco Vidal are in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye meeting with officers of the San Pedro Island and Heads of the Specialized Units to discuss the progress of the security operations on the island.

Williams is also scheduled to meet tonight with the San Pedro Chapter of the Belize Tourism Industry Association ( BTIA) to listen to their concerns and to update them on what is being done to address the crime issue.

In addition, Williams is overseeing the implementation of strategies to combat crime and violence on the island.
