Sergio Guerra and Edwin Nah to be charged for allegedly smuggling Hondurans

By BBN Staff: Human services employee, Sergio Guerra, 35, and Benque Viejo resident, Edwin Nah, 40, are detained pending immigration-related charges.

On Tuesday evening, Orange Walk police were alerted of a possible human smuggling ring in action.

They quickly set up a checkpoint near Crooked Tree Road where they intercepted a Toyota Corolla and a Ford Escape which were north bond.

In the Ford Escape, they found Nah with two Honduran men and two minors. In the Corolla, they found two women and three men.

Guerra was nabbed as he was found in the immediate area.
