By BBN Staff: The Western Regional Hospital this morning announced that it will be distributing a 2-month supply of medications for patients with chronic conditions.

The hospital says that this is to avoid unnecessary visits to the hospital and to maintain the sick and elderly at home.

These measures are being taken as Belize prepares for the covid-19 pandemic.
