By Aaron Humes: Prime Minister Dean Barrow says the Solicitor General is writing up regulations and will consider penalties for those in contravention.

The National Oversight Committee meets this morning and a full bulletin follows this afternoon.

The Prime Minister did confirm that a brigade of 60 Cuban medical professionals is on its way via Guatemala to assist.

And at least two public utilities – Belize Water Services and Belize Electricity Limited – are to provide funds to assist the COVID-19 fight.

The Senate is to meet on Wednesday to approve the Budget and additional allocations for COVID-19.

And Barrow expects that at the least, social organizations such as bars and nightclubs will be closed.
