Fifty-seven people currently under quarantine in Belize

By BBN Staff: Today, Dr. Marvin Manzanero informed that 57 people are currently under quarantine in Belize.

Manzanero says that 20 of the 57 are Belizeans who entered through the routine process of repatriation.

The remaining are persons caught entering Belize illegally. Those include Guatemalans and Mexicans.

“There are persons under quarantine in Corozal, Orange Walk, Belize City and in San Ignacio,” Manzanero said.

Those in San Ignacio are people who were caught entering illegally over the weekend, Manzanero noted.
