Belize Met Service: Dry weather expected today

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize (Belize Met Service) says that fair and dry weather conditions will prevail today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies today and partly cloudy skies tonight. Little or no rainfall will develop.

“A flood warning remains in effect for communities along the major rivers of the country,” the Met Service said.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 88 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 73 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 66 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 64 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing West-Northwest between 10-20 knots and the sea state will be moderate.

High tide came in at 5:49 a.m. and low tide will begin at 11:23 a.m.

The sun will set at 5:17 p.m. and the moon will rise tomorrow at 1:12 a.m.
