Minor to be charged for murder of Sean Menzies

By BBN Staff: Police say that a 16-year-old minor along with Jeffry Contreras, 22, will be charged for the murder of former Bowen and Bowen Sales Representative, Sean Menzies.

Menzies was at his home on Lancaster Street on the night of Wednesday, November 18 and had decided to smoke a cigarette in front of his yard.

That was when 2 men approached and fired multiple shots at Menzies. Menzies died shortly after.

Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams said that investigations have led to Contreras and the minor.

“Now, that sixteen-year-old is expected to be charged today with murder along with another individual who has been charged for abetment before, that person’s charge will be upgraded to murder, as well……So, you see the type of persons we are dealing with. Children, I would normally refer to them as gun toddlers.”
