Augustine Coc shot while coming home from work

By Aaron Humes: Forklift driver Augustine Coc, 28, was shot moments after being released from work Thursday evening.

Police believe he was targeted because the shooters could not find their real target.

By all appearances, according to ASP Alejandro Cowo, officer in charge of Crimes Investigation Branch for Eastern Division, Coc had nothing to do with the ongoing violence in the area and indeed does not appear in their records. He was apparently killed innocently, a pass sure to ruffle feathers in this season.

Several persons have been detained as part of police investigations.
