By BBN Staff: The Biden administration may soon be allowing thousands of asylum seekers waiting in Mexico, to enter the United States, BBC reports.

Reports say that they will begin processing about 25,000 people next week.

All Asylum seekers will first need to pass a COVID-19 test, before being allowed in the US.

This move by Biden backtracks the policies of former U.S. President Donald Trump.

The administration now plans to begin processing about 300 people a day at 2 border crossings.

Asylum seekers have expressed gratitude at this new move.
