By Benjamin Flowers: The Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) reports that there have been 13 new patients to recover from COVID-19 infection.

The newly reported recoveries bring the national total up to 12,320 and adjusts the national recovery rate to 97.0.

Meanwhile, there are still 53 active cases of COVID-19 in the country, and another 66 suspected cases under investigation.

The MOHW continues to appeal to Belizeans to do their part in the national response to the pandemic by abiding with the established protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and getting vaccinated.
