By Aaron Humes: 32-year-old Francis Parham, previously shot on the George Price Highway in 2018 and left in a wheelchair, was the target, though Police believe unintentionally, of another incident this weekend.
According to officer commanding Crimes Investigation Branch, Superintendent Alejandro Cowo, Parham was in his yard on Fullers’ Alley when someone on a bicycle approached him and another person standing in the yard and shot at them. Parham was taken to the hospital and police are looking for one person to assist with the investigation.
Supt. Cowo further explained, “The person in question who was injured. I know that he traverses the Curassow Street, and likewise Fuller’s Alley. He had been a victim previously, where I believe he had been shot 3 or 4 years ago, somewhere on the George Price Highway. The situation with the Parhams is that due to – I believe – previous misunderstandings with other persons, that might have led to this shooting. We believe that the person who was injured was not the target, but another person who was in the yard.”
