By Aaron Humes: The United States Embassy in Belize has promoted its meeting with Government officials on the issue of foreign direct investment and support for job creation.

Chargé d’Affaires Leyla Moses-Ones today met with Ministers of State Christopher Coye and Mike Espat in the Ministry of Finance, Economic Development, and Investment to discuss Belize’s path to economic prosperity and how the United States can best support progress according to a social media statement.

“#WeStandWithBelize in efforts to improve the ease of doing business in Belize to attract U.S. investment and promote job creation,” the Embassy said.

The U.S. is one of Belize’s top trading partners and among our strongest allies economically and on other issues.
