Rene Montero still wanted by Police, still ‘out of town’

By Aaron Humes: Accused of “willful oppression” under the Criminal Code, former Minister of Works Rene Montero is still wanted by Police.

Montero, however, is according to his attorneys still out of the country attending to a medical problem. While he denies the charges, he is prepared to come in to Police when he returns.

Asked for a status update on Monday, Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams, told us, “We await, but we still continue to make checks to ensure that he is not still in the country.”
