Reported home invasion in Roaring Creek

Posted: Saturday, April 2, 2022. 3:32 pm CST.

By Aaron Humes: While we are awaiting details from police, Breaking Belize News understands that a couple residing in Roaring Creek, Cayo District, had their home burglarized and vehicle stolen on Thursday night.

Initial reports say the burglars entered and held the couple up at gunpoint just after nine and stole various items, cash and a Toyota pickup truck but left them physically unhurt.

Reports further suggest the vehicle was abandoned elsewhere in the village.

We’ll have more as it becomes available.
