Belize Weather: A fair and fine Sunday

Mostly fair weather will prevail today according to the National Meteorological Service.

Skies today will be sunny with a few cloudy spells and partly cloudy tonight. Showers will be isolated.

High temperatures will peak at 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 93 degrees in inland areas; and 79 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 79 degrees along the coast; 70 in inland areas and 64 in the hills.

Winds are easterly at 10 to 20 knots. Sea state is choppy with waves of three to five feet.

Tides will be low at 10:24 this morning and high at 4:50 this afternoon. The sun sets at 6:11 this evening and rises at half past five on Monday morning.

The fair weather continues into Monday with isolated showers only.
