19 students awarded scholarships by Galen University

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On Monday, September 12, 2022, Galen University hosted a scholarship signing ceremony at their Central Farm Campus in Cayo.

A total of 19 students were awarded scholarships this year and 54 students are currently on Galen-sponsored scholarships.

Each year, Galen University awards deserving students scholarships in various categories; Eagle Merit for students with outstanding academic achievements, Athletic prowess for athletes, Dame Minita Gordon Scholarship for a female who enrolls in the Secondary Education program, and the George Price Scholarship awarded to a public officer in honor of the Father of the Nation.

Galen University prides itself on providing excellence in education and preparing students to achieve their dreams and goals.

Galen University continues to be a student-funded institution and offers full-tuition scholarships annually to Belizean students.
