By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts mostly fair weather with generally low shower activity.
Skies today will be sunny with a few cloudy spells and isolated showers, though a few more and some isolated thunderstorms will develop inland this afternoon. Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy with showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly over the south.
High temperatures peak at 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 92 degrees in inland areas and 81 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 81 degrees along the coast, 73 degrees in inland areas and 68 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly to southeasterly at five to 15 knots and sea conditions are light chop. A flood warning remains in effect for communities along rivers in Central and Southern areas.
Tides will be high at 12:31 this afternoon and 11:41 tonight and low at 5:31 this evening. The sun sets at 5:32 this evening and rises at a quarter to six Friday morning.
Similar weather conditions can be expected on Friday.
