Belize Weather: Showers make brief return to forecast

By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, skies today will be sunny with cloudy spells. A few showers and possible isolated thunderstorms will affect mainly the coast this morning, moving inland this afternoon and decreasing by tonight though skies will still be cloudy at times.

High temperatures peak at 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 89 degrees inland and 78 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 77 degrees along the coast, 68 degrees inland and 62 degrees in the hills.

Winds are northeasterly at five to 15 knots. The sea will be light chop with waves of two to four feet.

Tides will be low at 8:13 this morning and 6:59 this evening and high at 2:42 this afternoon. The sun will set at 5:21 this evening and rises at ten minutes to six Monday morning.

Monday will see generally fair weather with only isolated showers.
