Strong winds from Hurricane Lisa blow down house in Belize City

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Hurricane Lisa is located about 35 miles East-Southeast of Belize City, the National Hurricane Center reports.

Belize is now being impacted by heavy rains and winds.

A house on Nurse Finley Street in Belize City was blown down due to the strong winds.

Several parts of Belize City also reported flooding.

Hurricane Lisa is expected to make landfall within the next few hours in Belize.

The public is urged to keep informed and be prepared.
