Commissioner Chester Williams says police will not ‘cover-up’ for accused killer police officer Elmer Nah

By Aaron Humes: Police Commissioner Chester Williams has moved to refute suggestions that Police will “cover-up” for suspected murderer Corporal of Police Elmer Nah.

Corporal Nah has been charged with the double murder of Jon and David Ramnarace and the attempted murder of their spouses.

The Commissioner revealed that there is a believed link between the Ramnarace murders and that of Michael Williams a few nights earlier.

Corporal Nah remains on interdiction following his alleged role in the November 2021 drug plane landing on the Southern Highway. He does not have a licensed firearm after the Commissioner himself revoked his license.

The Commissioner also revealed that on the strength of a legal opinion on the tribunal that acquitted Nah last year of charges related to the plane landing incident which showed errors, he will be retried on those internal charges.

The Commissioner said it was clear to him that the perpetrator had a clear intent to kill based on his movements as caught on surveillance camera.
