Relatively moist and unstable weather to endure for the next 24 hours

By BBN Staff: Today’s weather report, prepared by the National Meteorological Service of Belize, says that relatively moist and unstable weather will persist for the next 24 hours.

The 24-hour forecast calls for skies to be cloudy with sunny breaks today and cloudy at times tonight. Isolated showers or thunderstorms will occur mostly over inland areas this afternoon, then a few showers and thunderstorms mostly over southern and some coastal areas tonight.

Today’s temperature will be 87 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 93 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 84 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 78 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 73 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be variable, blowing between 5-10 Knots and the sea state will be slight.

There will be a high tide at 7:39 p.m. and a high tide at 11:50 p.m. The sun will set at 5:36 p.m. and the moon will rise today at 1:59 p.m.
