Neighbors allegedly steal $70,000 worth of jewelry from retired US marine

By BBN Staff: On Tuesday retired United States Marine, Edwin Beeks, reported he was a victim of burglary.

Burglars reportedly entered his apartment and stole an assortment of jewelry worth up to $70,000.

However, quick police work led to the detention of four of his neighbors.

Some of the jewelry has since been recovered. A police investigation continues.
