Moist and unstable conditions continue today

By BBN Staff: The latest weather report from the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that  relatively moist and unstable conditions will prevail over the area today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for mostly cloudy with a few showers and periods of rain along with isolated thunderstorms tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 84 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 78 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 74 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 70 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 64 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East-Northeast between 10-20 knots and the sea state will be moderate to rough. A small craft caution is in effect for locally rough seas.

There will be a high tide at 9:47 a.m. and a low tide at 2:34 p.m.

The sun will set at 5:34 p.m. and the moon will rise at 4:41 a.m.
