Mark King announces Independent candidacy for Mesop

By BBN Staff: Today, former UDP Lake Independence area representative Mark King wrote to the Chief Elections officer to express his interest as an Independent candidate for the Mesopotamia division.

King will reportedly be running under the burgundy color and indicated that he will be ready for nomination day.

Notably, King will contest that seat along with the UDP’s Shyne Barrow, son of outgoing Prime Minister, Dean Barrow and the PUP’s Candice Pitts.
