Belize Met Service: Mostly sunny weather ahead

The National Meteorological Service of Belize (Belize Met Service) says that a westerly airflow will support relatively mild temperatures over the country today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for mostly sunny skies today, with clear to partly cloudy tonight. Fair weather will prevail with only isolated showers.

“A flood warning remains in effect for the country,” the Met Service said.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 87 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 78 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 72 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 68 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 64 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing West-Northwest between 10-20 knots and the sea state will be moderate.

Low tide began at 10:22 a.m. and high tide will come in at 4:58 p.m.

The sun will set at 5:18 p.m. and the moon will rise tomorrow at 12:14 a.m.
