Large gatherings banned on Municipal Election Day

By Aaron Humes: Minister of Health and Wellness Michel Chebat announced this morning that under Statutory Instrument 14 of 2021, gatherings of more than 10 individuals are not allowed on Wednesday, March 3, the date set for municipal elections and the Corozal Bay by-election.

Also on that day, sales of liquor are restricted and a curfew will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
