Missing Stann Creek teen found safe

By BBN Staff: The Belize Police Department says that 13-year-old Heimy Jennifer Chicas, of Santa Cruz Village Stann Creek District, who was reported missing this week has been found.

Police issued a notice this evening to say that Chicas has been returned home safely and appears to be in good health.

The department also thanked the public for their assistance in her return.

Chicas had gone missing on Tuesday, August 3.
