By BBN Staff: It has been over five months since fisherman, 30-year-old Jarid Usher, went missing, and his family is still offering a $20,000 reward for finding him.
Usher was last seen on July 5, leaving for a fishing trip in his skiff “Blessed Youth,” but he was never seen or heard from since.
The skiff was found, intact, on July 8 with no sign of Usher or indication of what might have happened to him. The Belize Coast Guard assisted in searches and the area where the skiff was found; there were also helicopter searches done but with no success.
In August the reward for information leading to finding him was doubled from $10,000 to $20,000.
Anyone with information of his whereabouts is asked to call 604-9840, or the nearest police station.
