Late evening traffic accident in Spanish Lookout

By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating a fatal road traffic accident that occurred earlier this evening in Spanish Lookout, Cayo District.

According to police, just before 9 p.m. Spanish Lookout Police personnel responded to a traffic accident on Bee Lane where one Hernan William Guillen, 53, was driving his green 2-door Chevy pickup truck.

He apparently lost control and ran into the culvert on the right shoulder of Bee Lane.

He was transported to Western Regional Hospital by Belize Emergency Response Team (BERT) Ambulance. He has since succumbed to his injuries.
