Man and woman jointly charged for drug trafficking

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A 40-year-old man and 20-year-old woman were charged jointly for drug trafficking this week.

Elton Ashton Marshall and Terry Adrian Palacio appeared in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, charged with possession of controlled drugs with the intent to supply to another with respect to 91 grams of marijuana found in their presence during a police search.

They both pleaded not guilty to the charge and since there was no objection to bail, it was granted to them in the sum of $1,000 each, which they were able to meet.

They are due back in court on October 28.
