Stig Da Artist visits Universal Music Group offices in Los Angeles as he prepares his first single

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belizean singer Stig Da Artist on Tuesday visited Universal Music Group (UMG) offices in Los Angeles.

“From a dream to reality. Today was a historic day. We met with Jeffrey Harleston who is the Executive Vice President of Universal Music Group and their marketing team,” said Stig Da Artist in a social media post.

“Preparation for my first single under UMG.”

From California, Stig Da Artist heads to Miami where he should be performing at the Miami Carnival Caribbean Connect on Friday.

Stig Da Artist thanked Leader of the Opposition Shyne Barrow for his support.

“Thanks to da big bro Shyne for help making my dreams come true in real life,” Stig Da Artist said in his post.

On November 19, 2021, Stig Da Artists and several Belizean artists including Ѕuра G, Ту, Dеја, and Маrlуn Vаnѕеn signed cоntrасtѕ with UМG, through Shyne’s connections.

“Destiny cannot be cheated. Another historic move. Thank you for making Belize your priority,” Shyne said in a post thanking UMG at the time.

Universal Music Group N.V. is a Dutch–American multinational music corporation based in the Netherlands. UMG’s operational headquarters are located in Santa Monica, California.

The label boasts several of iconic names such as Kanye West, Mariah Carey, Adele, Rihanna, Coldplay, and Lady Gaga.
