Belize Weather: Showers on the rise

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service today forecasts sunny skies with cloudy spells and cloudy skies tonight. There will be isolated showers or thunderstorms developing inland this afternoon and a few showers and isolated thunderstorms over most areas tonight.

High temperatures will be 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 96 degrees over inland areas; and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 78 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland and 64 degrees in the hills.

Winds will be easterly to northeasterly at five to 15 knots and seas are running choppy.

Tides will be high at 2:03 this afternoon and 10:23 this evening. The sun sets at 6:02 this evening and rises at 6:01 Wednesday morning.

Wednesday sees cloudy skies at times with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms inland in the afternoon, then generally isolated showers or thunderstorms on Wednesday night.
