New theme and logo for September Celebrations announced

By Benjamin Flowers: This morning, the National Institute of Culture and History (NICH) held the official launch of the 2021 September Celebrations theme and logo.

NICH held national competitions for both the theme and logo and selected “Belize @40: Hopeful Hearts, Steady Hands, Together We Rise,” coined by Alexandria Villanueva and Akeem Cooper, along with the logo done by Victoria Gonzalez.

Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Technology Francis Fonseca, as well as Ambassador of Republic of China (Taiwan) David Chen, unveiled the theme and gave remarks at the event, while the National September Celebrations Committee pleaded with Belizeans to get vaccinated so that public events can eventually be heald without restrictions.
